On my new Mountain Aire, the water pressure at the sinks has on two recent occasions dropped inexplicably, from its normal flow (which BTW was never very strong). The PSI coming into the coach from City water is 50-60 PSI, and the Psi after the filter (which is newly replaced) is also 50-60 psi. Turning on the water pump does not increase the flow at the fixtures. I have cleaned the screens on both fixtures with no improvement. Any thoughts as to what might cause this?. I thought that perhaps the check valve might be stuck partially closed, but I presume that would only affect the city water flow, not the flow from the water pump. Is there another in line check valve that I am missing? I would appreciate any thoughts as to what this might be and how to correct the problem.

What are you using to determine the "PSI" readings you provided??

Newmar supplies the coaches with a very restrictive filter and wiil cut down the flow of water to the coach. Try temporally removing the filter medium and see if flow increase. If the flow is better look for a less restricitve filter nedium. When opening the filter be sure to keep up with the oring in the filter housing.

I have replaced the filters with less restrictive ones.... Also, I assume that if the filter was restricting the flow/pressure, I would not have a 50-60 psi reading after the filter. Am I Correct?

Water filter flow rates for filters available at the big box hardware stores is below.
Note depending on which filter you install the flow rates vary from 0.5 GPM to >8 GPM. Certainly, 0.5 GPM as your house filter is not going to result in desirable operation, even though the filter will clean just about everything from the water. Choose your filter accordingly - by flow AND by ability.

A very restrictive filter with have no effect on the pressure on either the "in" or "out" side when all the faucets are closed - what is the pressure on the "out" side when you open a faucet? That might give useful information?? Just a shot in the dark on my part.....

I have a similar situation with my KSDP. Pressure everywhere else seems okay except for the kitchen sink. I've removed the filter with no effect. I just live with it.
