Water tank drain

Quick question. The drain handle on my water tank just turns will not open drain. Will I have to remove the base panel to replace the drain switch. Don't see anyway else but wanted to check before I removed panel. 2006 Dutch star. Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi Johnkmueller,
If memory serves me correctly the DS had:
1. Low point drain for hot water.
2. Low point drain for cold water.
3. Fresh water tank drain. Toward the front of the utility bay. Way in the back. Reach in past the plastic and down near the floor. It is a brass valve.

The only valve that drains the fresh water tank is #3.
