We are Owners of 2019 Dutchstar 4018!

After months ( actually years) of shopping, numerous factories tours , watching hours of videos, test drives and visits to FMCA rallies and shows, we ordered a 2019 4018 Dutchstar. Logging in to this forum cost us several $$$ extra dollars but the advice was spot on! We took delivery TODAY of our new motorhome! NIRVC in Lewisville, TX has been exceptional!

A few accolades.. to Dutchstar Don, our very first MOD will be to replace the door knob to the half bath. Owned the rig one hour and hubby tore off a belt loop with that handle! You warned us and he did it anyway! He is not a clothes shopper so this problem will need some serious shopping at a mall.

To Red Baron ... looked with a fine tooth comb at paint, caught a couple of issues to fix due to your keen eye! Headed to HWH on April 1 for active air.

To all the rest of you with potential problems to consider, thank you very much as we have 7 bins of "parts" that came via Amazon to be ready for those fixes! We lived in our Jeep for 3 days, two nights and 1200 miles to take delivery. We again realize how much we despise staying at Hotels! We towed a 4x8 trailer with our worldly possessions and got them all moved in by 10 pm. I love the drawers instead of dishwasher. I love the pantry shelves. I love the heated floors that are of King Aire style and look like barnwood. (I'm not a good housekeeper so shiny floors won't work for me) We will stay at dealership for several days learning systems and noting any fixes needed. I am beyond excited to be a Newmar owner. My stomach has not yet calmed down, but this glass of wine may help! Thank you to all posters for helping us with our decisions! Will post photos when I learn how to do this which will be right after I learn how to use Whirlpool microwave and induction cook top. Plus I want the boxes to be gone!

Congrats and welcome to the Newmar and NIRVC families! Ask about the new RettroBands for the steer Axle while you are there, a great new safety product in the event of a blowout and NIRVC has just announced that they are the exclusive North American distributor. Great looking product to insure you can maintain control through a blowout and subsequent stop. As a bonus it keeps the wheel off the ground and can be safely driven for a long distance.
