We are taking the factory tour next week

We are still four of five years away from selling the 5th wheel and buying a Bay Star Sport (2702). However we are taking some vacation days and going up to Shipshewana for the flea market next week. Since we're close we decided to go a day earlier so we can go to the Newmar factory on Monday morning for the tour.
How many of you have done the tour ?

I did it two weeks ago. Very informative and eye opening.

Great Tour

The tour is great. It will make you feel good about how the coaches are constructed. I did not get the same feeling when I took the another manufacturer's tour.

3 X Now

We have gone on 3 separate occasions. 6-7 weeks ago we went on the Monday afternoon tour. What a pleasant surprise, the guy that does Newmar training was filling in for the normal tour guides. I guess he will do that on Monday afternoons.
We learned more in an hour plus than from all sales people we ever spoke with combined. I left the plant feeling great about our Dutch Star, the best built RV in America. I now know why my RV is cooler in the heat and warmer in the cold and quieter driving down the road.
Wish I could remember names, I'd tell you who to ask for,
Have fun, Newmar is the absolute best.

We did the tour two years ago. Interesting way they move rigs thru the various assembly stations and how they get rid of trash on the production line. I won't soil it for you.
