Thanks Gary, will do some checking. We did get a little rain and wind here in Port St. Lucie. the last few days. Finally feels like Fl. today. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>
Don't mean to hijack the thread but could you give me some advice on where to stay in Port ST Lucie? We'll be there in the beginning of Feb. to visit family. Looking for someplace to spend a week. Now lets get back on thread.

I live there so I might be of some help. Depends on what you want, there isn't much in the immediate area.

The outdoor resorts is very nice but I'm not sure its worth the money. The golf course really isn't anything to write home about the last time we saw it some of the greens were looking pretty crappy.
Never stayed at the PSL rv park but we did drive by it. Looked like a 5-7/10. Had a pool and such, concrete pads, not much grass and its in the middle of PSL.
The Treasure coast rv park in FT pierce gets good reviews, never been there though so YMMV but might be worth checking out its just one exit North of Midway rd.
Jonathan Dikson state park has some RV hookups but thats in Martin County to the south. Not sure if they are full hookups or not.
Some parks like Sebastian Inlet and Long Point Park up in Sebastian are very nice and have sites either on or near the ocean / inter coastal, but about 30 minutes north. Cheap state parks, they don't have sewer but they have a dump station and electric / water is included. Prices are cheap but they fill up fast. You book the state parks on reserve America's system.
Other than that there really isn't any other parks in this area.
Good luck and enjoy your stay.
