Weird Electrical Issue
We have no power to the awning, central vac and the extra outlet in that bin. The GFI in the forward bath is functioning correctly. We called Newmar and they had no idea. Told us it's probably a loose wire (is that common?). What would be your next step? What would you check? I know that tracing electrical issues are not easy and usually not cheap. I am so disappointed considering our coach is less than 18 months old.

Look for a tripped GFCI breaker or outlet.

Check the connection in the boxes.
A tone tracer/meter will track any wire.
Just to make sure I'll state the obvious.......turn the power off

I had this happen as well. Mine turned out to be a tripped GFI in the 1/2 bath medicne cabinet. I didn't even know there was one in there! I'm not familiar with your floor plan, but would bet all you need to do is locate the GFI that is tripped.

Unfortunately, it's not that. The GFI is fine in the forward bath. Newmar did confirm that our forward bath GFI does feed those outlets. Someone else suggested that the GFI might still be the problem even though it works. We are going to swap a new GFI there and see if that fixes the issue.

Have you checked all the GFCI outlets?

We found two (kitchen and forward bath). According to Newmar, those are the only two in our coach. I suppose there could be more but the forward bath GFI is right over that storage bin so it would make sense to be fed from that circuit.

I am not familiar with your floor plan,,,but the block heater is on gfci outlet, rear bath, mid bat and kitchen all are on the gfci. I think in the basement there is at least one as well?

In our floor plan, there is a removable panel in our 1/2 bath cabinet, down low that snaps into place. Behind that panel I found one more GFI on the outside wall. Since I would never use that plug, I can only assume that it is for another floor plan.

I know you'd like to rely on the info you got from someone at Newmar but I bet you have a hidden GFI somewhere. I'd go hunting and see what I could find.

My load shedding will deactivate the basement plugs when running high amps
You have to reset the breaker even though it isn't tripped to restore power
Same when trying to run the fireplace with the electric element in the Aquahot on
Try flipping the breakers for the area without power

Weird Electrical Issue
I just went through this last month, some of my outlets quit working and could not find the problem. Finally I checked by putting my tester on the black wire and on the white and nothing happen but then I touched my tester to black and bear ground and I had 120v which let me know that I had an open neutral. If that is the case you are going to have to open each outlet and look for burn marks on your neutral. I am not familiar with the types of outlets that Newmar uses in their coaches but if they are the same that Monaco used in the early 2000 an open neutral is probably the cause of the problem.

Mine was and open neutral behind the rear TV outlet. It was the last outlet that needed to be checked LOL. All my outlets are now new and they are residential type. No RV junk no mo'
