Wet Bay sprayer question

The hand held sprayer's water volume is pathetic. I was thinking about replacing the faucet and sprayer with a wall mount kitchen household unit. I went over to the storage lot today and took off the old faucet and found that the outlet has a molded/glued in restrictor plate with a hole only about the size of the tip of a ball point pen. I didn't have any thing to open up the hole with me, but I was wondering if anyone has opened that up and gotten better results from the sprayer. I'll get back over there in a couple days to try it out.

I removed my whole handle hose sprayer and replaced it w hot & cold washing machine shut off valves. They have hose ftg threads and easy to attach what ever you use especially if you add quick connect ftgs.
I don't have a pic but if you fo a search there is a great thread e pics and part #s. Got them at Home Depot and they fit right in the plastic housing / backer that was behind the old faucet ftg.

I can add a short hose and use on board water & pump to flush black tank if no other water available or longer hose to wash rig or any other job.
If you really want a sprayer add a hose and or quick connect ftg and you can eadily swap it.

I have and it helps some, one of the air assist heads help more, look up Ecocamel shower heads , there is even a video where the guy changes out the outside sprayer to demonstrate the difference, I think YouTube

Here is what many of us have done. As stated above, we replaced the cheesy sprayer with hot and cold valves.

This may be on my radar too. I can’t believe how poorly the wet bay sprayer works.

I decided to go ahead an put in a wall mounted brass kitchen faucet. I'll mount to to a piece of starboard and put on a hose adapter on the spout so I can attach a regular hose or sprayer to wash the dogs. I'll post a pic when i do it next week.

I removed that shower head, installed a back-flow check valve, and use it to hook up to my black tank flush. I don't really need water for anything else in that bay.

I just replaced my sprayer with one that has a quick disconnect hose ($50 amazon). I noticed mine was leaking when on behind the panel. BTW...what do people use this for anyway? For when they get showered while draining the black water tank?

Looks like some of the newer RVs have a compartment separation between fresh water and waste water...makes a lot of sense to me.

DutchStarDon: I assume you modded the tank flush system? What for, what did you do? Did you post something on that already?

"Dav L".....when I did the permanent install of my water regulator, I added a line that DIDN'T go through the water filter that rinsed the black tank. I also don't like having to connect and disconnect another hose just to flush the tank. I can now flush the tank by just turning the lever above the flush connection while still attached to the shore water connection.

Nice...so, next to the flush ball valve looks like a cross T. The top and the bottom of the T looks like they have threaded plugs on them...is that for future expansion?

So, does your water system look like:

Fresh city water intake to a T...one side of that T goes up to the "X" that then goes to the ball valve to the flush inlet.

The other side of the T goes to the fresh water filter intake? Or is the regulator right before the T? or right before the water filter?

Well, today I got rid of the feeble sprayer and replaced it with a wall mount faucet. I was going to put a hose connector on the faucet in place of the aerator, but decided to try my water thief. It works great. I can hook a hose up to it and I also got a fitting that goes from the female connector on the original sprayer to a female hose fitting, so now the original sprayer can just slide on the new faucet too, should I want to use that .
