Need some info, please. Two slide locks unlocked and we discovered that we had lost the front wheel cover on our 2011 Ventana today on those rough interstate roads in New York. Surprised we didn't lose anything else. Now we need to replace the wheel cover. I'm afraid to hear what they cost but does anyone have any idea what we're looking at $wise?

Sorry. I just went out and checked it myself and it's the little hub cap in the center of the wheel cover on the front of the coach.

Hi jillie,
I buy these things 6 at a time! One can put a small dab of silicone on two of the tabs. That is suppose to help keep them on.
As to the price, I forgot what I paid. Have your VIN # and call the chassis manufacturer. You can purchase the caps directly from them. That is what I do.

Thanks, Gary. After this trip, I can understand why you buy six at a time.

Two locks from the same slide, or different slides? Any consequences? Must have been some rough roads.

One lock on the full wall slide and one lock on the front slide. No consequences that we noticed but we will get them adjusted, if that's the fix.
The roads were horrible. Forty-five miles per hour was too fast but what can you do on an interstate? The states sure could use some $$$ to fix up the roads.

Hubby called Freightliner today and got the name of a nearby dealer. We'll call him on Tuesday after the holiday and get some shipped to us. I don't like leaving that hub uncovered.
Wow, another use for silicone! I now keep a tube of the stuff in the motorhome for emergencies. I gotta buy some stock in silicone manufacturers.

I had to replace a front cap on a Spartan chassis last year and got it from them at the international rally...after travelling the NY Toll Way. I think it was 20-21 bucks.

Same road, same result. But it wasn't any better when we got on I-84 and headed into PA.
