My DSDP came with two big honker Freightliner 12v batteries. I called and priced them, and after picking myself up off of the floor (they were way over $ 140 ea) I went to wally world and got two Group 27 12v. for around $ 70 each. They were the most amps on the tray. They have been in for four years and I have not had any problem with them.

PS--Be sure and be careful with all of the small wires that attach to your batteries. When I changed these out, a small one broke without me noticing it. It apparently goes to the tranny and the unit WILL NOT START without it.
