I am considering an Allstar with bunks. One dealer offer me 40% off of MSRP. Is that a good deal or would you suggest offering 50% off (or more)

To; rayinnc,

If you can buy for 40% off msrp, grab it.

Make sure you see the newmar "window sticker"

Good luck,

Aime

40% off a valid MSRP is a good deal. As best I know the only way a dealership can sell at this price is with help from Newmar. This terms and conditions of this help is out of view of the retail customer. There is usually a time limit on how long the help is offered. If the floor plan suits your needs, now is the time to act.

What year is it?
Is it new or used?
We have a car dealer that sells used cars all the time 40-50% of sticker price, just make sure you are getting what you are paying for.
Yes Newmar is helping out some of their dealers.

Rayinnc,
My post assumed the coach was new. If this is true, 40% remains a good deal. You can always try for more and see what happens.

If it is used (previously titled) then the price no longer has a relationship to the MSRP. One needs to look up the value, of the coach and go from there.

A new 2007 is actually almost three model years old. They need to move the coach to make room for some "modern" stuff. Also the state you live in may impose a "floor tax" that penlizes dealers who don't move vehicles in a reasonable amount of time (begining of the new year). Generally 25-30% is expected so this should be a good deal.

Rayinnc,
Did not indicate what part of the country the coach in question is located, 3,500 miles on it indicates that it has been on the road a bit more than just delivery to the dealer. Probably been used as a dealership show coach in the local area, I would inquire.

This may be a benchmark for you, our coach accumulated 2,400 miles on it when delivered from the factory to Central Oregon, (Eugene area).
