I would bet any dish pods etc wold be OK

I would also bet that the Dishwasher Manual would make mention of type recommended.

Don't know, we are driving out to pick up our new coach and wanted to have whatever it is with us since we are on a tight schedule to come back etc. Just being a "boyscout" !

We use the little pods. I stick one on the shelf and turn it on. The small dishwasher works and cleans really well.

Our 2015 Fisher & Paykel drawer dishwasher uses either powdered detergent in the soap dispenser or the little packs or pods in a special tray that slips into the silverware basket. Both work equally well... the pods seem to work a little better in hard-water conditions.

Whether yours is a F&P or not, it's new so it'll likely work very much the same. Why F&P warns against using liquid detergent I have no idea, but it's a pretty stern warning so I heed it. Your brand may not have that restriction.

Enjoy your new coach and your new dishwasher!
