It looks to me like an anti-siphon valve.

It must just be on the newer models. I don't have anything like that. How do I get one?

It's the "No Fuss Flush" valve for the tank rinse.

Not sure of the name but it is used as a safety valve for the septic wash feature. It prevents the back flow of water so I have been told.

It is not a vent, it is a anti-siphon valve. Just like underground sprinklers use. It stops contaminated water from flowing back into the lines.

I also agree that it is an anti-siphoning valve and hose assembly. Under our kitchen sink next to the dishwasher there is a very similar assembly to prevent the water draining from the sink from entering the dishwasher.
