What ladder do you cary?

For those that don't have a roof ladder, what do you carry to gain access to your roof? Looking to purchase some kind of ladder?

I had a telescoping ladder and after I got on the roof and got back down, I realized what I was risking. I'll hire somebody next time. I carry a folding step ladder to wash the windshield.

Agreed not sure what I would do on the roof, however I did just purchase a 7ft collapsing ladder that folds up just like a 4"x4" wooden post. If you go to Amazon you will be able to find, and it fits underneath right next to my tray slide out, cost around 125-150$$

I use the Xtend+Climb Telescoping Ladder to access the roof, to do awning adjustments and polish the upper portions of the coach.

I carry a ladder similar to this. Even though I have a ladder on my coach I use this one, leaned against the coach the angle makes for an easier climb.

I carried a 5' step ladder as my rig has a rear mounted ladder for access to roof I purchased a telescoping ladder thinking it would be safer after using it once it is in the garage closet 5' step ladder back in bay. For the few times a year I may need to get on roof I use the step ladder and than the rig ladder for the couple of extra steps to get on roof.

Thanks

Thanks to everyone it's not that I plan on having to get on the roof while out camping, just nice to know I can if needed. I do like the look of not having a fixed ladder on the DS. Looks like the 15.5 telescoping ladder will do the trick and not take up to much space. I have plenty of tall ladders at the house for maintenance.

I use a telescoping ladder similar to that shown in post #7 but much higher. I wanted there to be at least a couple of feet sticking up over the roof to give me something to hold onto when climbing on and off. It is very heavy though.

With the ladder completely folded I am able to use bungee cords to tie it to some of the basement cross bracing, sitting on its side, and it is completely out of the way. The sliding cargo trays don't interfere with it or visa versa.

My Baystar has a rear ladder. Still, I just purchased a Little Giant Alta One and it fits perfectly in my front pass through. I wanted a ladder that I could do anything I needed on the rig and at home.
