At Newmar servicer on Feb 7th. Will have to leave coach for 5 - 7 days and will have to return home.
Wondering what to expect after I drop my coach off. I know the MA and EX owners posted that they get daily calls. However, that is probably just for the high line owners or the really good looking people. I'm neither.
I have a sinking feeling that if I'm not there, repairs will be put off and quality will be of the "see if he catches it kind". This vs. if I'm staying there, I get the whole night to review the work each day it is in for repair.
Thanks for your help.

Scott, I've seen both sides of the service issue as we're all camped together in the lots when the guys come out to get the coaches...
The regular service guys are just as thorough and conscientious as the high line techs, the major difference is the high line service techs allow access to your rig throughout the day.
Having met both sets of these techs AND having a relatively good all around knowledge of what goes on in Nappanee, I'd NEVER be left with the opinion that the techs would "slack" if you weren't there.
Having said that, I always like to be on site ot at least in town when the coach is in for service, just in case there's an issue...That's just me...

I too like to be there when the coach is retuned, around 2:30pm to talk to the tech, and check the days work.

Techs give feed back on any coach 5th and MH's they worked on for the day. Also if you just left it there the coach would stay in shop and may get finished before your 5-7 day time frame.

I left my MADP with warranty service for 1 week and made arrangements to return on a Sunday evening. Most things were fixed and they even remembered to leave the heat on for me. The next morning, I met with the tech at 6:00 am and he let me stay with the MH until everything was finished.
