I Have a Newmar Kountry Star DP with steel wheels and stainless steel covers. I need to get the lug nut caps off to get the covers off but no matter how hard I tried, I cannot get the caps off.
I need help - do they pull off or twist off???

IF they are like mine, the fronts are hubcaps and pry off. The rears are held on by 2 of the "lug nuts" only. The 2 that you unscrew are opposite each other and slightly different from the others.

Thanks BillArf ... I tried using "the flimsy alum. T handle often provided with the RV by the manufacturer" and bent it, so I'll have to buy a socket now.

For what it's worth.
The manager at a local tire shop told me to very careful not to over tighten when reinstalling them. He said they are very easily damaged if you use a air wrench to tighten them.

They make some stuff called Anti Sieze Compound. When you put the nuts back on you might use some on the threads for easier removal next time. I never even try to use the factory T-handle wrench anymore...I use a socket and 1/2" pull bar.

Just came back from the store where I bought a 1 5/8" socket. I put my 1/2" power bar to it, turned it left and off it came.
Everything is A-okay.
Thanks you everyone - you guys are the best!
