Where are the inverter outlets located on my 04 Newmar Mountainaire?

I was just wondering if someone had a similar coach and could tell me where the inverter outlets (110volt recepticals) are located on my coach. I'm on the road and can't seem to locate my outlet tools that measures all this. Thanks for any input or help with this question?

I have an outlet under the dash just in front of the passenger seat and it has gone dead. I'm trying to figure out it out as well. Thought it was an inverter outlet exclusively but when I turn the inverter on it still doesn't work. Does anyone else with a similar coach have this wall plug close to the floor under the dash on the passenger side of the coach? Thanks for any help. Checked all the breakers, all is fine.

Gary: I have the same MA and have an outlet on the wall close to the floor on the passenger side but don't have an inverter. However I thought I'd suggest you check all your outlets that have a reset button in the center (GFCI outlets) if one has tripped. This outlet could be connected to one of those. Good luck. Paul

Gary,
I too have the same exact coach as you. I don have an inverter.....do you? Where is it located in your coach? Do you have extra coach batteries for the inverter? As far as the 110V outlets....these are only powered when you are hooked up to shore power or running your generator. If your hooked up and an outlet is not working, as Tyka suggests check your fuse panel (in the bedroom) and those outlets with GFI's. Maybe one of those has tripped.
Let us know how you make out. Good Luck.

Yes, I have a sinewave 400 watt inverter in the storage compartment bay next to the house battery bay. It seems to be working fine. I do not have extra house batteries for it. I believe it just uses the two 6volt deep cycle coach house batteries. Iv'e check all the GFI plugs and the breakers and fuses in the bedroom. All are fine. Still puzzled. The outlet use to work as I used it for my laptop but it just stopped a few months back and now I can't seem to figure out what would be the trouble. Everything else seems to work fine. Thanks for the help.

Hi Gary, The outlet uner the dash and the power to the entertainment center over the drivers side is the only thing that I found that has power off the inverter. Does your front tv work when not on shore power? Also, mine has a gfci on the front of the inverter and if tripped no power to the outlets. Take a meter and check the output of the inverter........

Palehorse has it right, you have a 300-400 or 600 inverter and on the inverter itself it has a GFI outlet that has a reset button on outlet.

Hi Gary G.,
There is another thought you might want to consider. My coach also has the 600 WATT inverter. There are quite a few outlets, throughout the coach, powered by this inverter. When on shore power the inverter is in bypass mode and not inverting anything.

Step 1 is to make sure the reset button on the inverter is pressed in.
Step 2 is to disconnect from shore power and the generator should be off.
Step 3 is to determine if the outlets now work.
Step 4 is to determine if the inverter is putting out 120 VAC.

Please report the results here. From this point on there are several paths one can take.

Lastly, I put a small "I" on all outlets powered by the inverter.

Got it figured out. The inverter was turned off as well as the gfci reset was not set! It's all good now and all the front outlets work. I am now trying to get my new hd tv to work off the outside antanea. Iv'e never used it yet nor have I used the satellite dome. Iv'e always been in a park with cable but just here a couple of nights passing throught to Dodge city, KS. When I get to Virgina and get settled for four months in the rv park I will have time and patience to figure it all out. Thanks again for all your help.

For HD you need this ANT off the Bat Wing ant.
I just purchased this JACK HD ant and living 40 miles from Boston picked up 20 stations all in HD and the clearest pictures in HD I have seen.
You remove the BW and this ant just mounts in its place. It uses the same 12v ant feed off your control box for its AMP.

Thanks for the help on the HD antenna upgrade. I'll have to get one as soon as I get settled.
