Where does the coffee maker go
Looking to get a one touch type coffee machine.
Where do you place the machine while traveling? Anyone anchor it to the kitchen countertop with Velcro or any other method.
Would like to avoid picking it up when moving on.
I will have a DS 4369 if that helps. Thanks

We keep our Kurig on the counter nect to the sink. We bought the smaller one for rv. Big one at home. It seems to stay in place by itself. Had it on counter for 4000 miles so far abd hadnt moves. Coukd always place it in sink on towel if worried.[emoji46]

Our Keurig and our regular coffee maker just sits in place on the counter. We do take the glass container off the blender and put it away. We put the small soap dispenser down in one side of the sink because it will slide around. Other than that everything stays the same on our counter.

We also live dangerously with a coffee maker on the counter against the back splash. It doesn't move while underway but I'm under no illusion it wouldn't take flight in a accident- I accept the risk. I refuse to put anything in the kitchen sink for travel as we use the sink frequently & that would create more steps.

Since I only drink a cup in the morning and the DW doesn’t drink coffee, I decided to use a french press and a small grinder. I like using freshly grounded coffee beans.
The water is heated using an electric kettle which we also use for other hot water needs. All of the items nicely stow on the top pantry shelf. We tried going the Keurig route, but it was too big to easily stow and I wasn’t comfortable leaving it on the counter while traveling.

Ours just stands on the counter by the sofa. When we are on the road, we just turn it around so that the pot is now facing the backsplash.
Over 16,000 miles & never had a problem.

We haven't yet found a good storage solution for the Jura ENA Micro 5 we carry. Currently, we stow it in a lower-level cabinet during travel, but that's a pain in the posterior (as well as my old back). It only comes out when we will be parked for more than a day. For short stays, we carry a small coffee bean grinder (the Micro 5 grinds its own beans) and an old-fashioned electric percolator. Crude, but effective.
Sure hope someone comes up with a better solution than we've found to date. Wouldn't it be nice to have something like the televator for this purpose?

Keurig on the countertop has not moved in over a year and 10K miles. Good enough test for me.
