Welcome to a new set of friends on IRV2! Questions and comments are always welcomed. After many years of climbing skinny, straight up ladders, a few slides and slips while going up and down - and yes, an unavoidable aging issue - my folding ladder is much more versatile and stable. It is more work to stow and deploy but a more than reasonable trade-off - AND - it's great for getting high up on the slide outs and windshield (for which many class A drivers with a mounted ladder still carry another ladder).

Recommend you take some time to read the many posts on Newmar products and ask lots of questions as you consider your purchase...best wishes - safe travels...

At our CPU, we asked same question and our tech told us to use slide (same as JFXG and Lv2Roam2). Tech said this is how they do it at Newmar; won't hurt slide at all.
