Great customer service especially having to cancel 2-3 times recently with personal issues (dog), he was very understanding. Got in yesterday so haven't explored much. First time out for the year, so far it appears everything I left with I arrived with, so that's a good start.
I hope your 4 legged baby is okay!

Thank you all but I’m sorry to say she passed last Friday at a young age of 12 after a late bout with liver cancer. As she never complained it was hard to realize anything was wrong until it was too late. This is the first trip without her. She will be missed beyond words.

My farewell to Sam here.

Neal, I know the pain well. They're truly a family member, and true pal.
Sorry for your loss man.

Oh I am very sorry to hear about your loss. I feel so sad for you, I know the pain you are living right now. I also know that there is nothing that we say can ease the pain but please know my thoughts and prayers are with you.

A good overnight spot along I-75 south of Atlanta (exit 82). Full hook-ups and very easy in and out. $30/night with a $10 coupon to the sausage store door where you can easily spend it plus more. Nothing fancy but long gravel level pull-through sites.

I am so sorry for your loss. What a beautiful life you gave her and it sounds like she very much enriched yours. It was a nice farewell from you. It is tough to lose them but it is a life chapter that is so worth the joy and journey. Hugs to you.

Neal,
I just read your farewell to Sam. So incredibly sad. My wife and I have had to say farewell to four wonderful four legged friends in our time together. It never gets any easier. Hopefully one day you will find another furry friend to share your Rv life style. Weather you do or not, Sam will always have a special place in your heart.

Well, that sucks. I feel your pain. We lost our 14 year old puppy to liver cancer also. Man it came on fast. Loss of appetite and slowly getting lethargic. He was our second loss to liver cancer.

I should add that i don’t think catching it early may have helped. We caught our first dog’s cancer pretty early. The specialist said that there was a very good chance of survival after removing the tumor. I think we spent around 8 grand. She was dead two days later. I won’t put another one through what she went through.

Last year she took the Queen Mine Tour In Bisbee last year. I’ve already been told that she is never going back into a mine again.

She is such a trooper. Tomorrow we take the Lower Antelope walking tour. I hope that I can capture some images as good as have been presented here on the forum.

I'm going to look up that tour as soon as I finish this reply. Thanks tons HavingABlast for the recommendation! The photos kpecks posted are amazing. I hope you have a great tour tomorrow or is it today... woo hoo. I can't wait to do Lower Antelope![emoji2]

Drove by there last week with daughter in her car on trip from Atl to FL for a wedding. Told her we have to park the RV there someday. How is the sausage.

Our condolences, we can just imagine what a great loss this was for you, especially traveling with her all this time.

Heritage RV Park, Augusta Georgia

At Heritage RV Park, Augusta Georgia for the Master's Tournament.
Perfect little park. Clean, modern, well managed. 2 bars ATT, wi-fi, good satellite reception. We've stayed here before, and will again if the opportunity presents itself.

Arrrrggggghhhh - can't get the photo to load with the correct orientation...
operator error I'm sure....

The Habitat for Humanity RV Care A Vanner group is celebrating 30 years of “Traveling with a Purpose”. We are parked with 2 other Newmars and 100+ other rigs on the Lee County Civic Center grounds. There are 18 teams working on 17 different homes this week.
