Thanks for sharing. I love to hear people's stories and yours is such a heartwarming memory. I did the drive through BBRSP yesterday as well as Ross Maxwell drive in BBNP. Didn't do any real hiking as it was 106 degrees. Lots of rattlesnakes. I saw my 1st jackrabbit. It was huge! Going to go to Starlight Theatre for brunch. They have entertainment because it's Mother's Day! [emoji2] Thanks again for the recommendations!!!!

It is usually very hot there in May, but 106 degrees is a little unusual even for them. Probably would have been 20 degrees cooler inside of Closed Canyon. Here are some photos I took in 2013.

Cool and a bit rainy but it’s fun to be out after a long winter. Slide left in for a quick getaway in the morning. Dakota Meadows RV Resort, Mystic Lake Casino, MN - near Minneapolis.

Looks like a beautiful area for our DS 4362 maiden voyage in a few weeks! Have never been there before. Will be a little west in Empire MI. Any 'must see' recommendations?
