Which antenna is the CB antenna on 2003 KSDP

I have 2 antenna factory installed on the front of my 2003 KSDP 3905. One located front drivers side and 1 located front passenger side. Anyone out there know which is which?

Do you have a CB in your coach? Is one antenna short and black in color and the other tall and a skinny wire? On my 04 MA gasser the short black one is the CB radio and the tall one is for the radio.

The antenna over the drivers side is spring loaded 2 ft long and silver. The one on the passenger side is short skinny and not spring loaded on bottom.

I am getting ready to install a cb and have found the connections for 12 v dc in harness in dash. CB antennas plug is bundled in harness on left pillar under a plastic cover from dash to ceiling.

Hi calhyatt,
Are you the original owner? The reason I ask is the antenna locations are for the stereo radio. The CB antenna is usually just the other end of the wire you have already found. The CB antenna wire is located under a plate in the same area as the antennas you have mentioned. For your vintage coach Newmar used a standard antenna wire which requires the antenna have a metal ground plane. The CB antenna wire is around/under this plate.

Consider not using this setup. A no ground plane antenna/wire will do much better. Go to

CB Antenna - 3' Firestick No Ground Plane Needed - iRV2.com RV Photo Gallery
to see my antenna. The vendor is Firestik. The antenna and wire should be purchased as a kit. It is a no ground plane installation. Consider a 3', top loaded no ground plane antenna with matching no ground plane wire. The Firestik web site is at Firestik Antenna Company Home Page.

My 03 coach the CB is the tall wire ANT with spring at base of it and the radio is the short rubber one which I just had to replace.,
The CB ANT has a ring on it to adjust the signal strength of CB radio if needed.

I thought that might be the case. Gary said it has a ground plate but not to use it. Suggested something else. My antenna with the spring had a couple of lock screws to lengthen or shorten the element . I may try it and see if it works okay. If not I will go to plan B. New antenna. Thanks for your help.
