A few months ago we were getting the same error. Sometimes it worked just to turn the washer to off for a few moments and then back to the cycle I was on. If that did not work I drained the washer using the cancel/drain button and restarted the cycle. Since it usually occurred for us in the rinse phase I didn’t add soap again.
Since the message refers to the drain filter I also cleaned that out twice in a couple weeks but it never really had much in it. BE PREPARED with lots of towels and slowly unscrew that plug, there is lots of water left in the system after your load is done and it will all gush out fast and you won’t be able to shove the plug back in quickly enough.
After a while the error stopped and it has been good for us for the last few months, knock on wood.
