Whirlpool Washer problem
Ok, my Whirlpool goes through the wash cycle, then spins slowly, sounds like it is trying to drain (forever), won't go into the fast spin, clothes stay wet. Besides the cute answer of junk it and get a Splendide, any constructive ideas? Ok, more info, just read some previous posts. I never got an error code, but decided to pop the bottom panel, unscrew the filter and check it. I am now two quarters, five dimes, three nickels and five pennies richer! Will try the washer again tomorrow after traveling and see what happens.

Turn the washer to the off position. Then set to spin. It should spin normally. Then set to your normal setting and wash the next load. Same thing happened to me last week and that fixed the issue. Hope this helps.

Try turning the breaker off and wait a minute then back on and try again. I’ve had this at times. Not recent though.

You fixed it . Those pumps are sensitive to coins, toothpicks, and believe it or not, casino cards.

Welcome to the world of Whirlpool woes.
Resetting worked for a while, eventually they'd no longer work. After just over 1.5 years I'd finally had it and replaced it with a Splendide. 1.5 years after that, not a single issue with the new washer. For what it's worth, our last coach came with Splendide. 5 years of use, not a single problem.
