Who is parked at the Newmar International with the license IRV2 NKK? I pass this every day walking to the exhibits and was wondering.

Hi Dave,

Newmar says their 2010 models are on display in Nappanee. Only 19 miles away, but we haven't been there yet. Going next week, but unfortunately I think they are moving them out this Friday for presentation at another show. There are 5 dealers showing coaches at this event. All 2009 models I believe and perhaps some older, I'm not sure. We have been thru a Grand Star, a Ventana and a Dutch Star. All rear bath models. So, not sure if that means these were the really popular floorplan choices or the ones that haven't moved. There is another row that I hope to see today or tomorrow. I know there are some towables there and a King Aire and other DP models.

I talked to another attendee yesterday that went to Newmar's seminar & stated that the dealers preferred Newmar not do much with 2010 as they have too many 2009 still on the lots. I think 2010 is a new label on the 2009 models and some floor plans have been eliminated. All are hoping the tough times will be over soon and they can get back to more normal flow in this business.

That being said, people have bought some of the units on display. We talked to one couple that just joined the Fulltimers group last night and they are ordering a new Newmar, so business is there, but slower than before.

Have you heard or is it posted as to Where and When the 2010 NKK International wil be????

We have been told that the 2010 International will again be in Goshen at this same facility. The date mentioned is August again. There was some discussion of their hoping to do it a week earlier than it is planned, but Gulfstream has the facility for their rally in that time period. So the word is that it depends on Gulfstream. I understand the plan is for early August.
