At Camp Newmar and a Winnebago View is parked next to me. Newmar owners are looking for spaces to park. What's up with that?

I am at Camp Newmar, site 5. Been coming here for 12 years. Those who are new to Camp Newmar need to understand the Miller's view. Anybody can come to Camp Newmar. Anybody. Who knows why anyone is at Camp Newmar. There are many valid reasons. It is not anybody's place to judge.
Now for the reality. As of the time of this post (and it does change quite a bit on the weekend) site 4 in full hookups is open. There are 2 overflow sites that were open last night and continue to be open this morning. I do not see a Newmar coach dry camping. Is any Newmar owner going without a site?
When I am in overflow I am always on the lookout for a full hookup site to come available. So there you have it. If anyone wants a full hookup site there is one available.

As Gary said. Also who knows the Winnie folks might have a new child being born this week. So they may be new Newmar owners there to see their new coach go down the line.

We arrived for our FPU in our Revolution. We heard through the grapevine some were grumbling about the "SOB" in the full hook up area - until word got around.
As Gary said, they could be there for any number of reasons.

Agree with Gary. We have been here for a week and have watched FHU sites open on a daily basis as coaches are fixed and go on their way. We got in FHU after 1 night in overflow. Coming back around 12am last night, there were at least 4 available in overflow.
We also asked about SOB coaches as there were 2 tiffins here for many days....our service guy talked about Newmar open policy for others as well as saying a lot of the time, those people are here because they have a Newmar coach on the line.

Welcome to the Newmar family and CN! Enjoy the CPU, my head is still leaking info.
So tell us, what unit did you get?????
We're in the overflow lot and at least 4 open now and at least one more will open soon.

Our experience was May of last year. We'll be back in Nappanee immediately after the Newmar rally for our 4th warranty repair visit since taking delivery of our LA. [emoji17]

Hi - Don't know who the other Tiffin owner is (was?) as I never saw it. We have been too busy watching as much as possible of the build of our new Dutch Star 4369 as well as the build of a friend of ours new Dutch Star who was unable to make it here. We are one production number apart.
We have been careful to only be in overflow spots as a courtesy to owners here for service, but I do have to admit that runs to the dump station are getting thin. We appreciate the ability to stay here during the build, a courtesy that Tiffin also extends to SOB's having a Tiffin built.
Please understand that we are not here to displace anyone but rather to observe the outstanding quality of the build of our new coach. We come out of paint soon and will be gone shortly afterwards.
We have met several Newmar owners while here and look forward to becoming involved in the Newmar family.
Tom

And I should have noticed that from your sig line......
Sorry to hear about the number of warranty visits you have needed. We have had our coach 2 months and have a list of about 15 items that need to be looked at, but most are very small items. Biggest things are the slide creeping up while it is extended, water leak over driver's side window and our stair motor randomly and intermittently not working. I hate intermittent failures. I spent many years as a field engineer repairing medical lasers and intermittent errors gave me more than a few gray hairs.

Newmar told us we were allowed to park anywhere with our Winnie View. We had it there several times when we were choosing our Newmar and then watching it be built and then coming back to see paint prior to delivery.
We chose to park in the overflow W/E spots, but no one ever told us NOT to park in FHU. So they might just be following Newmars instructions as they get ready for delivery of their new King Aire :-).

I am sorry I don't have any interior shots, they wouldn't let me go in because someone was working right in the front.
