That's up from 8 a day a year or two ago.

We just left there on the 31st... Didn't even make it to UP Michigan and my GPS/Radio went out - for the 3rd time - they replaced it once, fixed it twice, the last time at Camp Newmar. It quit AGAIN. Had the coach since October 2017. I may have had 90 intermittent days worth of GPS and radio out of the entire 10 months... Had to buy a Garmin RV 760 to navigate with... We'll be back on the 15th... YAY!

Hi, a couple newbies here...should arrive 19th...Qs about visits: 1) anyone have a line drawing or map of CN with buildings and spots shown, 2) best route to arrive, 3) favorite camp spot, and 4) favorite eatery and nearby sight to see. Thanks in-advance! MnM

1. Newmar should send you a map.
2. There is only one way to arrive and leave. Route 9
3. There are no favorite sites. They are all the same. The CN CG is a dusty and dirty place.
4. Dutch Kitchen
Take the tour as often as you can. One can learn quite a bit.

Check your email. You wil receive a .pdf with all you asked about. Maps/instructions included.
Print out your work order sheet and put it on the inside of your
windshield so your service advisor can find you. They will pick up your rig at approximately 6:00 AM so be ready. They only 4 drivers with CDL's, so depending on how many trips they make back and forth to the repair facility it might be a little later, but they do have to drive it across town. Unless your issue precludes it, they generally have your rig back to you at your site between 2:00 and 3:00 PM daily.
We liked the C&C Breakfast Company for breakfast, love El Celito Lindo for Mexican lunch/dinner, also the Hungry Hunter. Plenty of info in the lounge on everything and anything in this area.

MnM,
The name is miss leading. But as far as repair facilities go it has everything you need for an over night or even several if need be. At the main area there are, hard to keep count as they move the fence and built new buildings but I'll just say 20 full hook up gravel sites. Then the overflow is up the street and there are another 15 or 20 sites with only water and electric. So for what it is there for it is fine. Service, visit the factory for a tour or on my last visit, watch our new coach finish the final stages of production.
Camp Newmar is more like the ramp if the Seabees just constructed the field not like a ramp at Andrews. At least for the time being. The new digs will probably be better. One of the problems at the present site is the traffic. Due to the plant it goes in and out all day stirring up the dust. This won't be a factor at the new sites, but that is just getting under construction so they don't have a completion date as of now that I know of.
The RV / MH Hall of Fame is a good place to spend a couple of hours.
RV/MH Hall of Fame - Museum - Library - Conference Center
Notre Dame is about 30 minutes away as well. Seeing "Touchdown Jesus" at the football stadium is worth the trip.

And yes Ernie has a point, Rise an Roll is a must. Your repair crew will love you for that visit. Apple Fritters seam to be a favorite but a box of mixed make the crew happy as well.
Have fun.

The Studebaker Museum in South Bend is also quite interesting.
