Hi ello,
Consider contacting Newmar. Ask for the customer service lounge. The lady there can advise you.

What is the routine for signing in to get a site for a few nights to see the Newmar tour?

At this time, at least, there is no need to sign up to get a site. However they have suspended tours until April, here is the notice.

I would not be there until September.

You may want to check I don’t think all of the Oakwood is pet friendly. There is also a holiday Inn express on 19 just south of Elkhart and one in Goshen also

Hey,
Just wanted to thank everyone for the posts about suggested hotels without pets.
We are going to book at the Holiday Inn Elkhart. (Thanks Steve)

Really appreciated everyone's help-

I’ve got an appointment in mid April for at least a week. I’ve a question for you all, my toad is on a dolly. What do I do with it once I’m there? Is there a place at Newmar where I can keep it or do I need to find someplace offsite? I’m not planning to stay there for all that time.

Thanks!
Marc

Hi Mgosselin195,
Usually one keeps the dolly at the site with the coach. If you can lock it I do not see any reason why this could not be the same for you. There are plenty of places, on Newmar property, that the dolly could be chained to. Call to make sure. 1st choice is the site they assign you. 2nd choice is to see where you can chain it up.

They are very accommodating. We’ve left our car trailer in different parking lots as directed on numerous occasions with no issue.

Thank you very much for this information! That’s a load off my mind. I will call Newmar and see what they recommend.

I can’t wait to take the tour and getting my coach in top notch form.

Marc

I’ll be there Monday through Friday this week, if anyone’s crazy enough to be in Nappanee this time of year.
