Hi guys,
Thanks for the pics. Looks like there is light at the end of the tunnel.

Actually some of us cannot go back to our dealership. Mine got bought out by Camping World and ALL the knowledgeable Newmar techs left (also the salesman and the person who did our half-assed walkthrough). I tried to go back one time. They broke new items and fixed nothing. I will be at Nappanee on the 10th of June for 2 days of warrantee work. I would go to a reputable dealer, if there was one near me that would take me, but as a full timer, I cannot deal with the wait where I do not have priority. The one Newmar approved mobile tech in my area does not understand the KIB lighting system I need help with. I may well try NIRV in the future, but it is Nappanee for me this time (with a trip to Charlotte MI thrown in for chassis maintenance).

Ham,

NIRVC has several locations presently with more coming. They are good for sure but there are others that are good as well. If you are going up to MI then a trip to Midway in Grand Rapids for service is also a good choice. Tom Lindstrom in LA https://tomlindstromrv.com/ is good. Freedom RV in Tucson AZ as well. These are stores that I have had service at or in the case of Lindstrom have been told about.

For the most part I go back to the factory to get service if I can and am going to be driving that way.

Mr. CAhill,

Here is a list of GM plants through out the US and the world. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_o...tors_factories See if you can get through the front gate at any of them, least of all get your car repaired warranty or other wise.

As I understand it brand X built in a southern state does have factory service but it is show up, take your turn and by the way if you have, I believe more than six or eight items, they fix the six or eight and you need to return to the end of the line and wait again for the remainder.

Newmar isn't perfect and I do wonder what they were thinking sometime but they are for the most part the place to have your coach repaired and they are fair as to what is warranty and what isn't. Even after three or four years. Try that with a GM product. Not by any means the cheapest but good.

Whew - the sites look really tight. Is there room for the slides to be opened?

Looks about the same as the FHU's now. It's not a camp site folks it is a repair facility. Probably no pool and kids park either.

Ray you coming to Hoot's this year? I need some stuffed Pork Chops from Veron's.

Hi reubenray,
Site width looks to be no worse than a rally.

Paving complete, lights going up. Fill dirt delivered. It's taking shape.
Yes plenty of room for slides.

Bill,
Tobe and I are not worried about Sandy being up because she will probably have a hard time getting you up.

Bill, that's a good tip - I'll be at the fairgrounds for a few days before my due date in CN next week, so I'll do the same.
