Thanks for all the detail. So what you would see in the afternoon short tour is part of the morning tour, or do you want to do both? Thanks again

Ahh, I left that out. The afternoon is just the assembly building. It's the exact same as the morning tour except for the fact that many workers are winding down their day. So some areas will not be as active. When I was watching the build on my coach last month I did the tours for 4 days. It was fun because they stop the tour when you get to "your" coach. Have fun, it's a good tour.

I forgot to mention that on the tour you wear a headset so you can clearly hear the tour guide.

So yes, the morning tour will get you everything you can see, with the most activity.

Has the rain slowed down enough for any progress on Camp Newmar?

I guess that shows us how many of the people that go to Newmar CS each week don't hang out here on iRV2

Unfortunately, no. Had big storms roll thru here early this morning with a lot of wind and rain. Electric power went out around 5am and was not restored until after 8am. The production workers were sent home, but the service folks stayed and got to work ASAP.

They were pumping out the water between the concrete pads all day. They need a break from the weather very badly around here. Very few fields are planted and there is standing water in most of them. -Paul

Thanks for the update. Called Newmar directly and they weren't too encouraging about opening date either. We're scheduled for Factory Pick Up on June 17th and were looking forward to utilizing the new Service Center Campground. Given the local farmers' problems, our little issue is minor to say the least.

Great point! Plus, I'm sure the Newmar people are less happy than the customers. They were counting on the new CG too.

Arrived yesterday early afternoon for a Tues. appt and got a full hook up site. By 3PM all those sites were taken. I did hear a couple of people here say they were leaving this AM. Have not been over to check out the new CG yet.

This post came through very strangely for me. Lots of white space between "ASAP" and "They were pumping..."

When I tried quoting, there was a lengthy section of letters.

Now, today, 2 days later, I got a "PandS" post notification email with 3 links that were three little pictures that were not part of a post. - It looked like they were CG pictures? So small it was hard to tell. And the way they came through I couldn't zoom.

Very odd.

Wondering if that's how it showed up for other people?

Hi - Yes the photos were small and not enlargeable. Try again if you can.

Looks like they have all the pedestals in and the sewer lines ready - assume the water lines are in the pedestals. That's great progress. They were parking, temporarily, a couple coaches where you see this one in the picture - maybe packing down the driveway into the CG.
Thanks for the pix Paul. Won't be long now - fill in between the sites and sod - not sure if they are planting any trees/bushes.
