Was scheduled for 3 days for some warranty work but lead tech found some more problems and will probably be here next week.

Day 2 of warranty work. Once again Newmar impresses upon me why it’s worth the drive to bring my coach to them. CN is keeping pretty full. All service bays are in use and some folks are waiting parts. Looks like if CN is used by only service/FPU there are about 6-10 empty spaces at any time for folks that get held over past their original maintenance dates. I think Newmar got the size of CN right.
If you are coming in I suggest getting in about 3pm. That way all the service is reparked and you will be able to park in an empty slot without throwing folks off.
For those coming in for the factory tour, the old CN is now overflow. It is much closer to the tour office so works out great for those folks.

Just got the call from Phil! Our new 2020 DS 4328 will be in production 10/9-10/15 and FPU is 12/2. If anyone is doing factory tour that week in October and wouldn't mind taking pictures, we would love some of the build! Just let me know and I can share coach number. Thanks!!

Well, our repair work wrapped up today and are on the road heading home. This was our first trip to CN and is was better than we ever imagined. Great, friendly staff willing to answer questions and help any way they can. And the set-up at the new service center is just wonderful. Wish we had spent the Labor Day weekend there rather than the CG in Michigan. Oh well, next time for sure.
And we were very pleasantly surprised to learn that Newmar has a dog friendly waiting area. It was a full house when we were there, but everyone was so friendly (the dogs were too!).
Thanks to Kari for taking good care of us and our Bay Star. He was very patient and answered all of our 'newbie' questions, and went out of his way to address a couple items that weren't on out 'list' when we arrived.

When I went on the factory tour, they had a pretty strict "no photos allowed" policy.

I called Newmar and they arranged to have a lady there to take pictures of the various stages of the build which she emailed to me.

When they were building ours , a lady took pictures from Newmar and sent them to us every day, so we could see all the progress.

They are unless it's your coach. I visited my coach when it was on the line and was invited into the coach and took a ton of photos. I also got to sign the coach before it was covered with the outside skin. It was a fun experience.

Same, except I just emailed Phil Stilley. He got Natalie to do it for us. I’m bribing her for a a steady streean with promises of my wife’s homemade cookies.
