Ah. I have not taken the tour since the new gal took over. I guess it's changed some. I should have done it again while we were there this past month. I'm sure I will in the spring when we go through there again.

We were just at Coachlight for the weekend. Marty is using the new 2012 KGDB as his personal coach now. Has his NKK number on it, as well as customized name cutouts on the stainless steel step risers. He doesn't have a KGDB on display, but the salesman showed us Marty's coach. It's the first 2012 we've seen that wasn't a full-wall slide. It's floor plan 4582, and that's probably the plan we'll go with if we get a new one.

I did get some pictures:

I like the step risers. We'll need to get Albert to do that for us next time. There was an Essex there with stainless trim that also had the name on the steps.

Flyingdiver, I bet Marty would sell you that coach. You and your wife would look very good in it with that fancy paint job.

MJFZ, we were there in Sept this year and that was the tour that we got also. When we were there in 06 we also got a tour of where they do a lot of the fabric work like for the windows and stuff. In 09, we got a tour of the Chassis shop. I guess they change it up periodically.

We would rather spend the 35k on custom changes/specials inside, instead of a fancy paint job.

We're kind of at Camp Newmar. We're actually staying at the Scottish Bed and Breakfast in Bremen while our coach is being repaired. We've been in the area for a couple of weeks for Newmar to re-skin and re-paint our coach. Our coach has been re-skinned and is now in the paint shop. Hopefully they will be finished with it in a week or so. We had the dreaded paint-checking. I really applaud Newmar for their effort in helping Newmar owners with the paint checking problem. They didn't have to do anything and they're paying most of the cost of this work for us. People are telling us that our 2006 coach will look better than new when it comes out of the paint shop. Since we fulltime, we can't wait to get our home back, even though we're doing quite well here.

Thanks 007. I would like very much to post pictures if I can figure out how to do it. We should get our coach back in 4 or 5 more days.

The top picture is the old sidewalls of our coach laying on the floor to be used as templates to cut out the new sidewalls.

The bottom picture is my coach prepped and ready for the paint shop. It went into the paint shop just like the brand new ones completed off the line. Neat.
