Thanks, John.

First thing we will do after we pay for it is do our pics -- before we load anything into it. We have found from past experience that getting good pictures first thing is the smartest possible thing to do for when it comes time to sell (not that we plan to be doing that again in the near future!).

We have always admired the great job they do with pictures on the North Trail web site and we have tried to emulate their work by taking pics of similar views. Yes, lots of pics for sure, but in the long run definitely a good investment of the time and energy involved.

Interesting quandary: Wonder what thread I should use to post them on?

Happy to hear suggestions, from thread police or otherwise.

Deek

I've just arrived at Camp Newmar, set up in the full hookup lot ... lucked out, only one other site available. Any other forum members here for service?

Got out of Houston right before the bad weather on Monday morning but not an uneventful trip ... broken windshield on the second day out.

Oh man, bad luck on that windshield. Will Newmar replace under insurance?

Heading to Newmar Sunday and staying at Amish Acres Sunday night to start factory delivery Monday morning of my brothers Ventana LE 3635. I'm tagging along to take pictures and learn about my LE at the same time! I will start a new thread and show pictures if they seem interesting, as per 007 instructions. Of course, the LE doesn't have many options choices and only two colors. Still this process seemed the right thing to do as he never has owned an RV and is single. (Meaning no kids to put through college or weddings)

PS: will turn water off on way home so we don't need 500 expert opinions

We are picking up our Newmar the first week of July. Is there any chance of getting it in for to Camp Newmar and the factory now for roof repair? Pin hole, soft spot exterior about 2'x3' and nothing on the inside. Didn't know how crowded it might be right now. Anyone have any idea of estimated cost of the repair? Thanks!

All work is scheduled.

You will need to call Newmar to schedule and get a price.

They're usually booked solid this time of year. For the whole summer.

Not sure what's going to happen Frank. Might not get replaced until August on our way back to Houston. I'll get a better idea on Monday when I meet the service people. Probably going to cost me a $2,500 deductible.

If you have Texas insurance, I think windshields have a state-mandated max deductible of $100. That's what it was for the car windshield I needed to have replaced when I lived there.

Scott, sorry to hear about the windshield. My Texas policy has $100 deductible. Found that out yesterday when reading policy before calling to get chip repairman out. Chips repaired at no cost. Hope for you it is mandated.
