Hi Lynn - That's us! We are seeing daylight at the end of the tunnel as far as the build goes. Currently at CQI and once it gets back next week we be leaving to slowly make our way to Garfield, MN. We'd like to get some photos of it and try to get inside to see it in a finished state. Ship date at present is Sept.12 but unless there is a issue I think we are a day or two ahead of schedule. Tiffin has been good to us (four time Tiffin owner) but we like the build quality of the Newmar better.

At this time there is 1 FH site available. Overflow has 2 coaches in it. Basically empty. I think everyone will see the service coaches lightening up due to the NKK International Rally. Almost all the techs go to the International Rally.

Congrats to you! Tiffin v. Newmar is a close decision and we fell on the Newmar side of the fence after a lot of thought. Garfield? Did you purchase from Steinbring too? We did, but since we managed the purchase via email and did CPU we haven't set foot at our dealership yet.

Our service techs did a fantastic job taking care of the items that needed tweaking on our 2 month old coach and we have arrived to Belleville, MI now. TIme for some fun!

I thought the Rally wasn't until October

Hi sbahrns,
You are correct. However, scheduling of coaches will start do decrease quite a bit starting this week. Remember, a coach must be repaired and released from Camp Newmar. All of us know getting in on time is not difficult. Getting out can be more so.

Congrats on the New Aire. I've only seen pictures but it looks like they have packed a lot of nice features into that coach.

If we take a tour, I will check on it. We may just drop our unit and leave. They are re-upholstering everything so once they take all the furniture out we are going to see how comfortable it is to stay in it using our lawn chairs.

I have to be careful taking a tour too, or I will be at the dealer again.

did you have an ultra leather issue, or just remodeling ?

If it is the replacement due to bad fabric they will take out and replace everything in one day (not sure on the 4041 or if you have dinette seats as well) except for your two front Capt. chairs. They have to go to Villa to be recovered. That can take from as short as a couple of days to one whole week depending on Villa.

That being said when I got there in June they somehow had a couch and the covering for the Capt. chairs but lost the two recliners and had to order them from Villa in CA. That was going to take 3 weeks and I could not stay there that long so they did the couch, local Villa took a week to do the Capt. chairs and when I come back to see my 2018 that is on order going through the line at the end of this month they will put the recliners in. So the dealer will get unused, except for a couple of weeks, recliners in the trade in.

To be clear they were willing to ship the recliners to any location I wanted for replacement but when we decoded to get a new coach, needed a new windshield due to a rock, we decided there was no sense in spending their money to ship them someplace. We wanted to see the new one go through the line and with the selling dealer being just up the road in Grand Rapids MI we are off to Newmar right after the Hoots Rally in NC the third week in September.
