08, 4502 Essex here:

Say, does anyone know how the spinning cups attach to the wind sensor fixture atop the rig? Ours seems to occasionally fall off the fixture and wife (who does roof top stuff) says there's NO set screw nor snap ring and it just appears to rest atop the fixture. Thanks. Steve

If yours has the metal base plate mount (an aluminum base about 3" x 1.5" x 1/4") and you have the cups (not the paddles) there should be a plastic acorn style nut on the top of the threaded brass cup mounting rod. Something like a #10 if I had to guess from memory. Get another plastic acorn from the local hardware store and use just a 7/32 socket and tighten barely finger tight.

RV Dude: THANKS, there's gotta be something holding the cups in place. If the rain EVER quits here in Tampa, I'm going up to take a look. Steve
