Window Problem

A window in our bathroom the seal must be broken. The bottom half which opens is full of condensation.

Do you think just the bottom pane which is hinged can be replaced? Or an entire window?

Can the pane be repaired?

Do you open vent when taking a shower and are the drain holes clear so condesation can drain?

Since purchasing our 2015 DS we had never opened the crank out windows, until last month. Well low and behold it must have separated a slight gap and now have condensation in between window panes over dining room windows. Now I wish I would have opened all windows upon delivery..

Yes some of us have had problems with the duo-pane windows separating. I have had two on the drivers side replaced and am having the bathroom replaced at the factory in June for the same problem you are having. One newmar dealer told me the majority of this style window delaminates, most people just don't notice because they don't open windows.

Hate to say it but we will not be opening any more windows as of now. Down south we usually have the A/C running and when it is that perfect day we will close just the screen door and turn on bathroom vent.

I've been told they will just replace the bottom pane, not the entire window. I like the idea if they don't need to pull the entire frame and windows.

How long will Newmar replace these windows, just for the original 12 month warranty or will they do it for a longer period? Or are the windows warrantyed for a longer period?

We found that the lower section of our guest bathroom window was holding condensation and submitted it as a warranty repair item which our dealer fixed with the help of Nappanee. They told me that they had to change the gasket, bellows (or something along those lines) which is sandwiched between the 2-glass panes (exterior & interior glass panes) which fixed the problem.
