window sticker

Is there actually a list price "window sticker" from the factory or can the dealer price it what they want? How do you know if the price the dealer gives you is the actual factory list price?

The dealer should be able to show you the Newmar MSRP price list for that model. It'll have the MSRP for the base unit and all of the listed options (not specials).

OTOH, they can price it however they want. But if you're not getting 20% or more off MSRP I'd be looking for a new dealer.

Newmar used to and may still print a MSRP sheet for each model with option prices that they would send on request.

Contact Newmar to see if it's still available.

I've never seen a "window sticker" price on any RV. Some had printouts that looked neat but weren't a "window sticker".

I don't think they have to have a window sticker price like car dealers do.

We use to have dealers on the forum dealer list that would allow you to build your own coach with options you wanted and option pricing on line.
You would start with the base price and add your options and come up with the full price for coach.
Lees RV was one of them but since CW bought into business I see that option has been removed.
I checked a few others and didn't find one on list.
The dealer for Newmar should have a option price list from Newmar for when you order a new coach to be built the list should have the prices.
If I were ordering I would request one from dealer so you can have an idea what you total price will be than deal with dealer.

There is no legal requirement that dealers post an official MSRP as with autos, and many will print their own to reflect what they want. Many times you can find the "real" MSRP from the factory carelessly thrown in a drawer when looking at new units. Several years ago, when we were looking for a new motorhome, I found a web site that purported to provide a dealer's cost summary (for a fee) much like Consumer Reports does for autos. I do not remember the site, and have not heard them mentioned for years so they may not be around any more.
