Windshield Crack

This week we went for our second trial run to a campground. The site was not level. It was off side to side and front to back about 2 to 3 inches. When I pushed the store button and the jacks came up the windshield cracked from the very right side just below the top down at an angle to the bottom about 8 inches from the left side. This is on the passenger side of the coach. To top it off, on the way home, a gravel truck passed us and dumped rocks on the road that made three chips in the drivers side glass. (speed limit was 70 and I was set at 65)

On our DP with air ride we have to dump the air before lowering the jacks and air it up before raising them. I think this is to help with chassis twisting issues.

It would be my guess that the previous owner had that windshield replaced and it wasn't set correctly. The frame should not be flexing enough to be able to crack your windshield when coming off jacks to suspension, or the other way around for that matter.

If the chassis frame gets a twist in it when operating jacks or lowering jacks the windshield can possibly crack.
You have run into the other problem on the road a good Newmar recommended dealer can replaced the two windows for you that Newmar may have in stock.
