My dealer changed the windshield on my new 2010 DS last summer as part of pre- delivery dealer prep..it was cracked. The molding came loose within a few weeks...so they replaced it with a non stock, wider molding..which has now come loose. This happened over 6 months of time..most of which was spent sitting in storage.

So before I make a spectacle of myself with my dealer..thought I would check and see if there is any history of windshield/molding problems that might explain why this is happening. Thanks.

If he ordered the correct rubber molding from Newmar and also the correct cement than cured under heat lamps as Newmar repair does the windshield should have no problem staying in the cut out opening.
You may want to call Newmar Repair,Phil Stilley and check with them.

Hi litespeed,
Yep, do what 007 said. The cement is the important thing. Just had my passenger side windshield replaced. Got my fingers crossed. Not sure where you are, but Duncan's (Elkhart, Indiana and Lakeland, Florida) does outstanding windshield installations.
