Winegard Traveler 2010 Ventana 3933

I recently purchased a Newmar 2010 3933. Originally it came with the King Dome satellote antenna. Someone changed it out for the winegard traveler, which is ok with me. The problem is I am not getting signal from the antenna in the bedroom. I have an additional receiver and comnnected to all of the appropriate HDMI and coax, but nothing. Got to be missing something somewhere. I have double checked the wiring connections in the front compartment with no luck.

Thank for sll of the help on other questions I have had so fa.

I don't think any of the units have Sat in the bedroom unless that is a mod during build. Yours is the way they come from Newmar out the door.

We have a 2010 Ventana 3961. Had the King Dome replaced with Winegard and use DirecTV. The bedroom TV was wired with all the connections to the Winegard already and a switch box to select source inputs for remote TVs up in the entertainment cabinet. All that said, our problem was up on the roof. There are 4 coaxial connections on the Winegard and two of them turned out to be bad. You can switch them around (probably with Winegard tech on the phone) to try to get one to work back to your bedroom. As I said, only two worked so we don't have direct output to our outside TV but can use the switch box to route the front DirecTV output to it and the bedroom if necessary.

First, is your Travler an SK-3005 or SK-SWM3? It will make a difference in troubleshooting.

The coax that you connected in the bedroom, do you KNOW where the other end of that coax is? There are a lot of variables to work through and I'll be happy to help sort it out.

I have DISH, not sure what model, tomorrow morning I am going to take everything out of the console and start from scratch to see what I have. I figured at least I would be able to receive DISH viewing on the remote TV by using the switching box. No luck there either.

Thanks for all the help so far. I'll try and posy tomorrow what my end result is.

Dan....my Dutch Star came with the dome new.....part of the sale included getting a new Winegard Traveler that I would install and return the dome. ON mine, there were two cables on the roof. One for the bedroom and one for the front TV.

Before you go crazy looking for connection problems, take a moment and go on the roof with a 7/16" wrench. Often, the connectors at the satellite and there may be a splitter on the roof (mine had one for the rear TV) can become dirty. Loosen all the connections a smidge and then tighten them back up. I've had it happen twice over the years where the connection just needed to be tightened.

Checked everything yesterday inside so now it is up to the roof. Looks like someone did not connect the bedroom coax to the traveler, it is coiled up in the cabinet not connected to dish. Thanks everyone.

I have the same setup as you have in my 2009 DADP with separate receivers and am able to watch both front and bedroom TV's at the same times different channels. The outside TV is tied to front TV

If you have to connect that loose cable to the Travler . . . while you're up on your roof, I suggest you run all three RG6 cables on the Travler (labeled A, B, and C) inside your RV like this:
