While doing My Battery maintenance. I was thinking(I know that can be scarry) What the other Wires/ Connection are for that run off the Chassis Batteries.

There is one Red to the Positive post with an inline fuse.

There are thre black wires to the Negative post. One about the same Size/Gauge as the Red one and 2 heavier/Thicker.

Could the Fused Red and the same size black be for the Back Up camera???? OR????

And What about the other Black Wires????

GaryKD and Joe(Read and Learn) you have the Same Coach Or any one else have any ideas???

Here is the Pic

Thanks Rick

Hi Rick,
I have the same as you. Never thought about what goes where. When I look at all the wires, I will continue to not think about what goes where.

The inline fuse is likely for either the explosive gas detector or the steps... OR... The disconnect switch believe it or not

As for the others.. Some hardware they simply run the ground back to the battery, there are several reasons for doing this... but there is usually no TECHNICAL reason to do it (Radios are an exception)

The small roof solar panel runs to the chassis batteries.

One is the 6v tap for the hi/lo lights.
If you have the temp sender on the inverter that's another - the lug is actually a thermistor.

I believe those connections are on the house batteries.

Duh! How I thought "house" when the OP is pretty clearly "chassis" I don't know!!!
Sorry....
In that case, now that I am on the right bank...
Pick some of these that come off the chassis bank:
Powertrain IGN source
Powertrain Batt source
Clean power source to front chassis distribution panel
and/or
Trailer BATT charge
