Wiring for the toad .

Finally got around to wiring for the toad ( wrangler ) brake lights, 4 hours, and i'm still not done, tomorrow i install the baseplate, the wire is rolled up in front of the coolant tank under the hood.

I want to see what it looks like when the bumper is off.

When did i get old ... now both legs hurt and the back forgetaboutit.

Know exactly about the "old part" yard work on these hills is killing me. Did my 2013 Sahara within a month of bringing home when new. Put on a blue ox baseplate, tow bar, and roadmaster brake thing which I found NIB at a pawn shop. It has been doing fine since then. Tow bar might need to be rebuilt, still trying to find shop for that, can order parts on amazon, but not for this device, want factory service. Blue Ox will do it, but got to ship to them, how do you pack up something like that? On mine, the drivers side light always shorts out because of water, just cannot keep it out.

You know what they say, "Getting old is not for sissies!" That's why I say just call me "Wimp! LOL. I feel your pain, Seems the older I get, the longer it takes to heal. But, the struggle goes on. Cheaper to DIY than to hire. Besides, too poor to hire! Heck, I'm so poor I can't even pay attention! Good luck on your project, it always feels good to finish.

Yeah, well. It's projects like this that wake you up to realities. Good luck on your project. I elected to pay the big bucks and have it professionally done -- for the same reasons you're experiencing.

I bought a friends 2014 CR-V that was "professionally set up" I ended up doing everything over again except the bracket install and that I had RoadMaster check over at the factory.
