Wiring Identification Help

I am in the process of getting a light to the dash for when the Toad breaks are applied. I have power to the trailer brake pin on the front of the Toad 6 pin wiring harness when the break is applied.
I believe the 12 or 14 gauge blue wire in the 1st picture marked SP709A Trailer Brake is the wire I will connect an LED to that will give me notification when the Toad break is initialized. Correct me if wrong.

There are a couple other wires under the dash that I don't know what they are for.
1st the 12 or 14 gauge yellow and white wire with butt connectors. Yellow is marked "Radio" and white is "Ground" what would these be used for.

2nd there is a wiring harness with a single 12 or14 gauge yellow wire connected to it. Any idea what that might be for?

3rd single red 18 gauge red wire marked SP1081E Stop Lights

4th 18 gauge pink and black (Ground) that say "on board weighing". What are they for.

Thanks for looking

I hope this helps, and isn’t something you’re already aware of.

If you are looking for an indication that the BRAKE is being applied ON YOUR TOAD, then you should really be tapping into the wires ON YOUR TOAD, not your coach.

With the AirForce1 system, this is triggered from their unit being activated, and then sent to an LED light mounted to the TOAD’s mirror. This is what you want.

What I’m getting at, is you need a confirmation that the TOAD is, at least, getting brake application in terms of electrical. Of course, there could be mechanical failure and you’d still have an electrical confirmation.

So, just using the coach’s brake/trailer wire is really only telling you one thing: that the COACH’s brake lights are being triggered.

Golfer Guy:
I just did this exact setup a few weeks ago.
I'm not sure which pin it is on the trailer plug on the coach, but use the blue wire to one side of your LED on the dash and the white should be your ground for the other side of the LED. You say you already have the towed wired so when AFO applies the brake, you get a signal to the front plug? That would be the same connection if you were to use the LED in the towed and see it in your rear camera as Cpt Gizmo suggested. I didn't like having to search for the LED in my rear camera, so I put an LED on the dash of the coach. Its a very simple 10-minute job.
Here is a link to the post I had that may help.
PM me if you have any questions.
Good luck,
Mike

Golfer Guy.....You have the correct wire (blue), but there is a safer way to do it. Connect the light on the motor home dash to 12 volt power, with fuse. Use the blue wire, which runs to the coaches trailer plug as the ground. Have the switch in the toad, supply ground to the front of the toad and through the umbilical. This way, you're running a ground the length of the coach and through the trailer plugs versus a hot wire. Much safer.

Thanks for the input guys.

Captain Gizmo I am using a Roadmaster universal Brake light controller on my jeep. https://www.etrailer.com/Tow-Bar-Bra...RM-751000.html this allows me to monitor if the brake pedal is being depressed when the Moho brakes are in use rather than just the brake lights being activated.

Mike, perfect I will install the led dash light to the blue wire and provided the umbilical cord between the Jeep and Moho I should be all set.

Thanks

Now to figure out what those other wires are under the dash.
