I found a used All Star 4154 (too far away to buy). The pics show the entertainment center next to the dinette.
Obviously, you'll have a sore neck if you try to watch the TV from the couch.
With the slides out, would you pull the couch out and turn it toward the TV? This assumes you're staying for a while and actually plan to watch the TV.
I can see how the couch would then be in the way when entering/exiting.
This just looks like a bad layout for trying to watch the TV.

No, I'd take the cabinets out over the two chairs in front of the sofa and put the TV up there, against the wall. If done right you should still be able to use the two chairs as well although the view might not be as good as from the sofa. Either that or remove one of the chairs and make a TV / Desk in its spot so its visible from the sofa without breaking my neck.
I'm not a big fan of forward or aft TV's and its one of the big reasons we went with our FP.
Something like this:

I agree... In my Essex I had the front tv and the midship tv and whether I was sitting on the port or starboard couch, OR at the kitchen counter I could see either tv.
Sorry for the nautical reference, but I'm a little in between ideas right now.

Well, there's already a small table that pulls out between the captain's chairs.
I like your idea of putting the TV over the that area, though.

Hi! Not if you are lying on the couch. That works great. Don't the captains chairs turn around so that you can watch TV from them also? Paul

I would keep both and add one above the seats. That way you have a view from every angle.

I have the 3950 with this same forward cabin and we have both TVs on and you can see one just fine from all seats just fine. The only bad view is if you lay on the coach head forward because the dinette blocks the line of site. But, it is easily corrected by switched sides I think there are MANY things to upgrade and spent money on that are more productive than this....

If you move the couch you than will have to move seat belts and rebolt to floor and you may not have enough room to open the bed.
