I've read all the posts.
I've remove three screws from each side via the cabinets.
I've pried my fingernails off.
The wooden bezel doesn't move, wiggle, or creak.

There are no button screws through the bottom.

I'm considering a slide hammer or a narrow hobby saw.
I'm also considering another beer.

1996 Mountain Aire.
Magnavox TV.

If you have to cut it out this tool will make a clean job of it and has a very small kerf. The less you bugger it up the better. Perhaps someone has glued it in. I used this tool to cut the face off a kitchen cabnet and was able to reuse the Oak faceing.

Thanks - I suspect glue or just old varnish welding.

I have one of the HF vibrator tools, at home :-(. It is fantastic. I remodeled my front porch this summer and it made difficult/impossible cuts easy. They're on sale right now at the local store. I may buy another one.

My 98 KS & 99 MA had wood buttons on face of bezel that were removed, with screws behind them, than screws through a metal base fastened to bottom of TV that had to be removed to slide out TV from box.
Some bezels were stapled to two boards on either side of TV that were screwed through cabinet side walls into these boards. Once the cabinet screws were removed the whole assembly would slide out.
The screws maybe hidden behind fabric on cabinet walls. You could than remover screws from metal base plate to remove TV.

My Essex frames are siliconed on. I want to change radio speakers, but no way to get grills of without tearing up. I'd call Newmar and check before you tear something up.

After playing "hanging monkey" with a flashlight to look through the grill, I think that the "bezel attached to two side boards" correctly describes the way it's installed. I have removed all three screws from both sides. I even removed the center "reading" light from the bottom just to make sure there weren't any hidden fasteners (there weren't). I think it's just 10 years of stuck.

I've tried prying against the outer frame and against the TV to no avail.

Two alternatives I'm considering are:
1. Drive wooden wedges between the bezel and outer frame along both side edges.
2. Drill a couple of holes through the edge of the bezel and into the side plates. Screw in 1/8" lag bolts and use a slide hammer to break the inner frame free of the outer frame. I can install wooden plugs into the holes to pretty it up.

"screws maybe hidden behind fabric on cabinet walls" Gosh I hope not! The fabric is heavily padded and I'll never find them!

I can't see any evidence of a metal plate looking from the front and rear.

The vibrator cutting tool is $29 with a coupon from Harbor Freight. It probably isn't as heavy duty or as nice as the more expensive ones but it works great!

In re-reading the above posts I just got 'Theberrys' suggestion: rephrased as - cut the bezel off of the side plates. Oh! That's a good idea too. Sometimes it takes me a while...
