My air horn only sounds very briefly when the horn button is depressed, is this a sign of a bad horn solenoid? I think the solenoid may be located behind the TV anyone know for sure?

The solenoid seems to move around a bit. On mine it is right in the center of the cabinet above the windshield, buried in the insulation against the wall.

Anyone have a picture or a size and description of this solenoid?

Looks like part #1136 Accessories & Parts.
Some people have installed the HD4 version as it is less prone to sticking but you need adapters as this one is 1/4 NPT whereas the original is 1/8 NPT.

Ours is located behind the front TV. Found a replacement at the Winnebago dealer, however had to go to NAPA for fittings. I has been working fine for 3 years.

Found it, in the center of the cabinet just above the windshield. Thanks everyone! There is no part number I can see on it so am wondering if the #1136 is the right one? The picture doesn't show a second air line on the side as mine has. I am afraid to remove it since I will be moving soon and suspect that the air will leak out as I drive. Any thoughts?

There is an inlet and outlet on the 1136, that is the one I replaced mine with 6 months ago. You will lose air if you do not replace the solenoid or put a blanking cap over the inlet hose. I traced the air hose back to the manifold and closed it off there as it is easier to get at.
I think the '98 and '99 models are the same as major changes were not done until the 2000 model year.
