Only one stage operates, no difference between hi & low. Anyone know the fix?

Cummins has a software update that fixes the problem. I had mine reprogrammed at DRR January of 05. There was a change to the ISL in 04 that went from hard wire to software activated and Cummins was slow releasing the upgrade.

Welcome Dan&Donna
We are glad you found our forum. There are any number of members who may have an answer to your problem. Is the problem with your Jake Brake new or has it always worked this way? I believe there was a period of time where WRV was producing units with the one stage only Jake Brake. If you need to find a service facility, sounds like it would be a job for Cummins.
Claudia and I travel to your area every summer to visit family. We will be there after July 4th.

I have an 05 with the same problem. There were some coaches that did not have the hi/lo switch wired for two stages. WRV had mine checked at a local dealer. The wiring is correct. I now must take the coach to a Cummins dealer to have the system programed. Supposed to be a simple fix.....we'll see.
