I don't believe it had a name just a silver box behind the TV. Tech support at Moto Sat could help you1-800-247-7486.

Hello Tom & Laurel:

Let us know when you get the Alpine Home. The silver box for the Moto Stat connects to the Satellite receiver. It will only work on old receivers. I found out the hard way. When my original receiver went bad and I installed a new one which would not work with the silver box and the dish would not operate. I had to purchase a new OSD from Moto Stat which replaced the silver box and I was told it could be updated off your computer and it would work with all receivers Dish, Direct etcetera for about $500.00. Well that was true until they (Satellite Companies) came out with new receivers and if you want to upgrade or replace your receiver you must spend another $500.00 to get the latest unit to operate the Moto Stat. Well my Moto Stat OSD went bad and they (Moto Stat Tech Support) wanted $35.00 to talk to me on the phone and then wanted another $500.00 to update to the latest unit operate my Moto Stat because they no longer support the OSD I purchased. I junked the Moto Stat System and went to Dome unit. The King Dome Satellite Dish I installed will work on any type receiver you have new, old and future receivers.
