Heard abt the Aero turbine performance diesel muffler at the New Braunfels rally last fall. Has any alpine owners relaced their muffler with the Aero and which muffler will fit a 350 hp 34ft alpine. Will the 5050XL with 5" in/out and 30" long fit in the same area as the current muffler.I appreciate any info that you can provide. Thanks Ken Brumelle Evergreen Co.

Muffler for 2002 36 MDDS , see post #4.

You might PM the folks whom installed one for more detail.

I agree that the AeroTurbine muffler is a nice mod for the ISC engine. We installed the 4040 at JB Equipment in the Hemet, Ca. area. I am not so sure that a bigger (5050 muffler) is better in this case. Turbo spools up much quicker, noticeable power increase in the lower gears when accelerating. Much cheaper than stock OEM type muffler and should last the life of the MH. Will know more about mileage improvement after we get a few more miles, but I sense looking at the 'silverleaf' that it is better.
