2006 alpine 40df rear slide

i have a 2006 alpine 40fd triple slide. was wondering if the slide in the back bed room opposite to the bed slide is suppose to stick out from the wall about 4 inches or so when extended out? all the other slide are flush to the wall when extended out

My 'o5 is like that. It uses a scissor mechanism which takes up some space.
