How long is the cord and how much do you think it would weigh (for freight cost purposes)?

Rusty - I've been thinking about installing a reel in mine. What did you do? Where is the reel located? Have any pictures you can share? Approximate cost? Thanks.

Rusty,

I think you should send the cord to rotts4U since he seems to want it very badly. I was just going to use it when I needed an extension cord because I carry a 30 amp extension cord and was going to upgrade to 50. So I'll yield to rotts4U.

RUSTY BEAR, if you are still trying to get rid of the 50 AMP cord let me know. I will give you my UPS # and you can just drop it off at UPS and I will be responsible for the shipping.

Let me know.
Thank you

Steve,
I installed a TDI Shoreline reel in my 34-footer, in the compartment just in front of my service bay. Sure beats handling the yellow anaconda, especially in cold weather. Here's the link: Shoreline Reels - Power Cord and Hose Reels for Your RV, Boat and Home

Steve:

Here's what WRV was installing as OEM:

http://www.glendinningprods.com/rv.html

I met one of the owners (John) at the FMCA rally last year and he was very interested in customer-service, even gave me a spare part at no charge, to replace one damaged by the previous owner. He even gave me his cell number to report any problems.

I've been happy with both the hose reel and the power cable reel from Glendinning.
